Taichung Detention Center,Agency of Corrections,Ministry of Justice held the 109-year inmates’ psychological health and suicide prevention lecture

First,the object:
Whole members of our inmates.
Second,the event purpose:
Suicide is the consequence of the many reasons.If we provide the solution to decrease the emotional pressure of inmates, we can stop the impulse suicide behavior.As stated above, we plan the courses of pressure counseling, which are teached by the professional lecturers every seasons.The topic of the courses are how to ease the common pressure and solve the emotional problems.The main purpose is to let inmates know the affects,which are caused by the emotional pressure, and let them learn how to face and tackle the pressure.The courses would also let them build good psychological quilty.
Third,the event content:

1. We arrange the counseling psychologist to each field to hold the psychological health and suicide prevention lecture,the participant amount of this event was 604 inmates in total since February to June,2020.
2. The course content includes knowing the alarm of emotional problems, and the ways to ease the pressure timely.The lecturers share the actual cases to remind inmates the importance of emotional management and pressure adjustment.To let inmates build the correct psychological attitude to fave the source of pboblems.This year we will continue holding the related educational courses, to support inmates paying attention to the psychological health of themselves and others.
